The Youth Week of Prayer and Global Youth Day program, which took place in Wau from March 12th to March 18th, under the theme "love is a verb," was a resounding success. The week-long program was a global initiative of the Seventh-day Adventist Church designed to nurture young members about God's desired love.
The program concluded with an uplifting outreach visit on the 18th of March to a 'hauskrai' within the community, where the youth participants walked for an hour to demonstrate their love and empathy to grieving families at Kunai Creek.
The enthusiastic members engaged in daily devotionals, group discussions, and prayer sessions throughout the Youth Week of Prayer. The Global Youth Day program encouraged young people to give back to the community by participating in volunteer activities and community events.
